14 | Glare

It is heavily pouring outside and the sound of thunderstorms increased with the darkness of the sky. The three brothers are busy playing cards which was of course Abhay's idea. Pari was busy cursing everything which made her this helpless.

Rudransh is trying his best to avoid the ice cold eyes staring at him with a murderous look by concentrating on the cards in his hands. He cleared his throat when he felt the air becoming heavy with tension. The silence environment was disturbed by the sound of lighting.

Abhay bit his lip for the nth time to stop himself from laughing out loud. There are two reasons, one he won the game again due to his brother's diverting focus and two is the person glaring at them while being tied to the chair. It was a whole lot funny which made his laugh out loud but he quickly covered it with cough sensing the glare which diverted towards him.

Pratik kicked his leg under the table to shut his mouth and not laugh which definitely work as a fuel in her anger.

Parinidhi cursed herself for not fighting harder. She should have kicked his balls when she got the chance. Dammit. She closed her eyes feeling tired and thirsty All she want to do is to see her father, to check if he is fine or not, to talk to the doctor about his condition.

She scoffed looking at the Rathore brothers who are busy playing cards while tying her to the chair. Assholes. She fisted her hand in rage. She is going to make them pay for it. Especially Rudransh Singh Rathore.

He, first dared to involve in her personal matters, then involve in her decisions and if she didn't agree, he dare to lift her like a sac of potatoes and tied her to this damn chair. Her jaw ticked with her clenching.

The increase in the intensity of her glare didn't go unnoticed to anyone. Rudransh rubbed his neck feeling nervous. Never in his life he thought a women of 5'6 with make him nervous like hell. As much as his inner senses are warning him, he is enjoying a lot.

"Do you need water?" Rudransh said holding a glass of water. parinidhi suddenly felt even more thirsty hearing the word water. She badly wanted to nod but didn't. Rudransh understood her and got up with the glass.

He opened her tape softly but before she can curse him he warned her "No water if you curse" She sighed and opened her mouth internally punching herself for giving in so easily. Rudransh made her drink the water.

"You didn't mix anything do you?" She asked raising her eyebrow. Rudransh smirked and said

"Don't you think you are late to ask this question?" Parinidhi wiggled in the chair while glaring at him.

"What did you give me?" She asked gritting her teeth. Rudransh bent towards her ear and whispered huskily

"Just some sleeping pills. Good night Pari" Saying it he winked at her and went back to his seat.

He knew he is going to suffer for this move. But there was no other option. And a he felt a sudden realization that Marrying her comes with a lot of danger.

Which made him wonder if she is going to glare at him all his life? Will she welcome him with her dimple smile or her glare? Will she cutely pout at him if she gets jealous or worse shoot him with a gun for making her jealous? Will she wait for him to come home and have dinner in his busy days or worse burn down his company for not giving her time?

She can do anything.

He mentally noted to install more fire alarm systems with great quality and check if they are working. He has to be prepared for everything. Nodding at his thought he threw the cards on the table. Leaning on the couch he looked at the women who is driving him crazy in every way.

All of a sudden he felt his life a whole lot exciting than he ever felt in his 32 years of life. Exciting to see the depths of her love, the flames of her anger and the ecstasy in her embrace.

He is now able to see a life which is a lot beautiful and full of light, just like the girl who is currently sleeping peacefully.

"You are being a creep now" His thoughts broke hearing Pratik's words. "I Know" was his reply before he got up from his seat and went towards her chair.

When it comes to her, he can becomes the most unrecognizable version of himself. The version who has the ability to feel emotions. She is someone who bring the best out of him by doing nothing but just being herself around him.

A lot Self obsessed, beautifully stubborn and unbelievably sassy.

Untying her hands and leg softly, he lifted her up in his arms. He gulped when she moved but sighed in relief after seeing her settling her head on his shoulder. He looked at the clock in his room, It is 3am in the morning which clearly states why she is drifted of to sleep without realizing.

Placing her on the bed, he covered her with the blanket. He looked at her face and chuckled silently seeing a cute frown and her lips still sealed. Biting his lip, he slowly started to pull of the tape without disturbing her sleep. Successfully removing the tape he sighed in relief. He heard her sigh and snuggled more into the blanket.

She looked so peaceful, without a frown or any flick of anger on her face.

He plopped himself on the chair and and leaned backwards with his eyes still fixed on her. Without realizing he drifted off to sleep.

He woke up with a jerk when his phone went off in his pocket. Hurriedly he took out the phone and silenced it. He snapped his head towards the bed only to choke on his saliva. His eyes widened in horror seeing Parinidhi sleeping like a star fish on the bed. Her legs are now in his direction and her head is in the middle. The pillows on the bed are now on the ground.

The thing which made him choke is, her skirt went up showing her thighs and the outline of her black lacy underwear. In a quick reflex he threw the blanket on her. He stood up from chair and quickly got out of the room with heavy steps while removing the buttons of his shirt.

His breathing turned into pants and his hart of hammering inside his chest like a drum. Rubbing his chest he took deep breaths. He looked around in his cabin and saw his brothers not there in the cabin which impacts they are in the top floor penthouse sleeping. Sighing he opened the window to take a fresh breath of air

The morning sunrays greeted him. It is almost 6:30 in the morning. He looked at the sky which felt better for the travelling.

Calling his guard, he ordered him to prepare his private jet as soon as possible. Using the elevator he went to the penthouse to look after his brothers. Opening the door of the bedroom he saw then sleeping without a care of the world.

Taking the jar which was on the side table, he emptied the content on them. "Main doob raha hun, help help, Mujhe swimming nahi aati, help" Abhay screamed bashing on the bed making his both brothers sigh in frustration.

["Help help I'm drowning. Help, I don't even know how to swim]

Ignoring him Rudransh walked towards Pratik and said " I'm going to Delhi in a few minutes. Manage everything on my behalf. And yeah don't disturb me by calling unless someone is dying" Pratik nodded his head still feeling sleepy.

"You are so rude" Abhay who was woke up a second ago spoke with a frown. "When did you woke up?" Pratik asked laying on the bed with a teasing smile on his face. It will never not be  funny to talk to a sleepy Abhay. He blabbers nonsense.

"When I was thrown into a sea" Abhay said in a sleepy voice and yawning.

"then,  you should have came to the shore while swimming" Pratik asked rubbing his back. "That's the problem, I don't know how to swim while sleeping" Abhay replied with a pout closing his eyes.

"By the way when did you wake up?" Abhay asked slowly drifting into sleep. "When I threw you into the sea" Pratik replied chuckling. " Oh" was his reply before he slipped into his dreamland.

"I'm going" Rudransh said coming out walking out of the washroom looking fresh. Pratik nodded at him.

-------------------

Parinidhi groaned while rubbing her eyes. Feeling cold, she wrapped the blanket around herself and cocooned herself with the blanket Sighing in relief she stretched her hand to the side table to have her phone where she always keeps while going to bed.

A soft whine escaped her mouth when her hand unable to locate the table. Her eyes are still closed, which felt a lot heavy to open.

Her hand was still in air searching for the table, Rudransh who came to the room to wake her up chuckled silently seeing her behaving cutely and kept her phone in her hand. A wide grin formed on her face which immediately fell down remembering all the incidents happened on the previous day.

She jolted up from her sleep and sat on the bed with a sudden jerk. As soon as she got up her eyes landed on Rudransh who is standing beside the bed. Before she can kick him, he took a few steps back and mumbled fastly

"We are in Delhi, the jet is about to land. If you want to see your father quickly, lets postpone the violence to another day" Saying it he walked out of the room clearly knowing that she will follow him behind.

Parinidhi as expected walked behind him silently without saying anything. Her heart was beating fastly in nervousness and anger. Nervous about her father and anger about the reason behind the accident.

Soon the jet landed and a car was waiting for them outside the airport. Rudransh secretly started taking glances at her, seeing her a lot silent didn't set well with him. Is she about to cry? was the first question that popped in his head. Well he don't know how to console a girl if she cries.

He bit his lip keenly observing her blank face. She didn't give away any of her emotions when they entered into the hospital nor when she asked about the room no. of the patient named Rakesh Gupta.

They turned the corridor and came face to face with the Body guard who was sitting outside the room. Without saying anything she marched towards the room and entered inside. Rudransh hesitated a bit to enter but seeing the bodyguard enter he walked behind him to a scene which amused him to the core.

Parinidhi is standing infront of the bed while folding her arms on the chest. Her breathing was heavy and her jaw clenched while an elderly man was sitting on the with a bandaged head. His head was hung low like he is trying to ignore her eyes.

"Didn't I say?" Her voice turned ice cold just like her eyes. Isn't she supposed to cry hugging her father emotionally?

"Didn't I say to never cover up to the colleague of yours and come home straight without overworking? I don't why you always have to behave like a stubborn child Rakesh Gupta." Rudransh raised his brow in amusement seeing her scolding her father while he is nodding at her like a child.

"He had some emergency- Before he can complete his sentence Parinidhi showed her hand. "Don't. Don't you dare give any excuses now. You always do th- this" Her voice cracked at the end. She gulped hard and took a deep breath.

"How many times do I have to tell you to take care of yourself, don't trust everyone they will take advantage of you. But everything just get over your head. So I don't know what you do but you are going to submit your resignation letter to the boss of yours now!"

"Pari- "NO. I'm not going to listen. when you can't take my words seriously then you can't expect me to listen to you. You are coming with me. Period" Parinidhi said making Rakesh sigh. He know he can't to anything when she becomes stubborn. Just like her mother.

"Come here" He said extending his arm. His heart clenched seeing her controlling her tears, she looked away from him breathing heavily.

"It's been many days since I saw my Pari, Mera baccha aur bahut sundar ho gayi hai. Bilkul ek pari jaisi, Apni papa ki Pari. Papa ke pas nahi aayegi, Itni naraz hai papa se?" Not being able to control Parinidhi wrapped her arms around him and sobbed hard on his shoulder.

[ My baby has became even more beautiful, Just like a fairy. Come to your father, don't be angry on him]

"I was so scared!" She mumbled between her sobs.

"Meri bacchi" Rakesh patted her back while she cried on his shoulder. Rakesh was consoling her but his eyes landed on the man who is standing at the entrance beside the bodyguard while staring at his daughter without blinking.

Parinidhi sat straightly and wiped her face. She smiled at her father but frowned seeing him looking behind her. She turned her face where her father was looking to see Rudransh.

Rakesh narrowed his eyes at Rudransh and asked

"Who is he?"

Parinidhi looked between them while rudransh straightened himself ready to introduce himself as her friend. But parinidhi said something which made everyone in the room gasp out loud.

"He is my Boyfriend!"
